1978: Electro-Bucks

Electro-Bucks addressed the new electronic industry. Opportunities were big for people with the knowledge of the industry, engineers could make lots of money. However, working class people, especially women and third world women, were exploited. Women only earned minimum wage and worked long hours under bad environmental conditions. In this play John, the factory foreman, wants to climb the corporate ladder but he finds it difficult to balance his Chicano background by oppressing his own people, especially the woman he loves.
