Called "A Dream Play for the '90's", Rats tells the (tail) of a young, Black visual artist on a mission who has lost her way in the '90's. When a giant rat sneaks into her apartment and steals her wallet (with her rent money inside), she follows him down his rat hole and finds herself on a comic/surreal nightmare tour of the Bush/Trump/Helms era- complete with lots of surprises- including a wild tea part you won't forget. Is it just a dream? Too much TV news? Or...the awful truth? |
