Cornerstone Theater Company returns to San Francisco for the first time since 2006! The award-winning Los Angeles based theater company is winding down their year-long state-wide road trip with California: The Tempest at Z Space. Over the past two years Cornerstone has interviewed 100s of Californians in San Francisco and across the Golden State about their hopes and vision for the future of California. In this contemporary adaptation California: The Tempest, Cornerstone has moved Shakespeare from a shipwrecked island to the site of a plane crash on the Lost Coast. Conjuring love, disaster, revenge, and forgiveness the show reflects on what makes California special and what our future might look like. The show features a cast of over 25 local performers from San Francisco and actors from 9 other communities in California making it a truly unique Cali-centric experience.  Learn more!
