CLOSING DAY ~ OUR LAST PERFORMANCE!

LABOR DAY - Monday September 2 @ 1.30p Music / 2p Show - Dolores Park in SF.

There will be a lot going on in the park.  Put your blanket out early to get a good seat where you can see and hear well.  (A little tip: Up on the hill is NOT a good seat to hear or see from.)

And remember:  The Bay Bridge will be closed so give yourself extra time to walk the short distance from the 16th Mission BART stop.

Velina Brown and Pat Moran have been invited to do a concert / Q & A presentation on their "journeys to the Mime Troupe and experiences being in it" in Napa, on Sept 22 for "Terry Bradford's Backstage Pass".

Keep an eye on our website for more info.

And now, back to ...the ongoing misadventures of the Troupe... When last you heard from us our truck was still in the shop...
And you'll never guess what our mechanic found in our gas tank - a 2"x8" piece of cellophane!  Now how did that get there???

We must be doing something right if those who oppose us can't come up with a better way to object!

A simple fix in the end but hours of paid labor went into finding the problem.  We would like to thank those who donated specifically to help us get our truck back on the road!!!  But she's an old truck and we will likely have to replace her in the coming years.  If anyone knows someone well connected in the truckin' business that can help us plan for the future - CONTACT US!  info@sfmt.org

And it's never too late to donate

We have been hosting several community forum events over the last couple of months in our SF studio space and while on the road. The purpose of these forums has been to create an open discussion on environmental issues with people from around the bay area. Please join us for our last in-house forum with Adam Zuckerman!

Adam Zuckerman comes to Amazon Watch with a
background in human rights advocacy. He spent years organizing with activist diaspora communities, and most recently worked for American Jewish World Service, an international human rights nonprofit. Adam speaks fluent Spanish and has worked in the
Ecuadorian Amazon. Adam works on Amazon Watch's Clean Up Ecuador Campaign, a movement to hold Chevron accountable for its legacy of contamination in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
